Middle School Counseling

So much happens during middle school! The adolescent years can be foundational to a person’s sense of self. Middle school counseling leverages the opportunity to instill strong self-esteem in each student, teaching self-care practices and the value of an inner dialogue. Students learn to distinguish helpful beliefs from potentially damaging misbeliefs – it’s valuable to individual wellbeing and long-term success to affirm helpful beliefs and counter misbeliefs at this impressionable age. The more students understand their own identity, the better prepared they are to respond to the world around them. By developing empathy and teaching students how they can manage relationships and resolve conflicts, students meet others with compassion.
