At Korea International School, we respect each student as a unique human being possessing individual needs. Our faculty and staff are committed to a service delivery model involving close collaboration with parents and community members. As such, the Student Services team provides a variety of services in order to meet the needs of the student body.
In order to make an informed decision on whether a child with academic, behavioral or social/emotional needs can be supported at KIS, it is essential that parents provide the school with as much information as possible throughout the admissions process.
Prior to final admission, families work in conjunction with Student Services to review data and determine whether KIS can support the needs of the child. Collected data will be used to determine learning goals for the child. Data can include Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or equivalent plans, testing results, behavioral plans, evaluation reports or other relevant documentation.
