Welcome students, parents, faculty/staff, and community members of the Korea International School. It will be my pleasure to serve as the high school principal for the upcoming school year. My wife, Elizabeth, and I have relocated to Korea from The United States, particularly the beautiful state of North Carolina. We are both very excited to become part of such a wonderful educational environment. I know that our highly talented staff will work in unison with the community to provide the best possible education for each of our students. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for our students through a challenging curriculum, a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, and practical applications of knowledge gained from these experiences.

Korea International School has already distinguished itself as a center of academic excellence. Our highly qualified staff will continue to promote the development of the whole child through a rigorous course of study, diverse course offerings, and opportunities for the personal growth of our students. Each of our graduates will be well prepared for acceptance into the most respected universities throughout the World.

My philosophy of education includes the belief that all students have the ability to excel if given the proper tools, and if encouraged to develop individual potential. My personal goal is to meet each student, establish a meaningful relationship, engage each one through coursework and activities, and challenge each one to grow as a person.
