The middle school years are a journey through early adolescence where intellectual, social, and physical changes are rapid and varied, so our faculty deliver a program aimed to meet these needs for each different grade level, while keeping a close eye on teaching, molding and shaping each individual student. Our ultimate goal is not only to challenge and develop each student to his or her maximum potential, but also to equip them with the critical affective, academic, and behavioral skills to guarantee success in this technological age.

Middle school is a period of transition. To assist students in successfully crossing the bridge from childhood to young adulthood, the middle school offers a wide range of exploratory, elective and experiential opportunities - both social and academic. KIS believes children begin to make important choices during middle school and together with their families begin to develop into a responsible lifelong learner.
