General Information
The mission of the elementary library media program at Korea International School is to promote reading and information literacy. To meet this mission, our library media specialists partner with our classroom teachers to integrate library instruction into the curriculum so that students can effectively and efficiently utilize the ideas and information found in the wide array of available resources.

Our mission and goals at KIS are aligned with the standards and guidelines provided by the American Library Association (ALA) in its publication for school libraries, Information Power.
