Dear KIS Gaepo Parents:

I am writing to report that we have 6 confirmed cases of the Influenza A HINI Flu Virus in Kindergarten, Gaepo campus. The students diagnosed with H1N1 will remain at home for 7 days and their siblings may attend school regulary if they do not exhibit any symptoms.

Please be advised that, at this time, we will not be closing any classrooms at KIS  Gaepo. We are sharing this information with you just to keep you informed of the situationn at our campus.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you to keep your child at home if he/she is ill. The student should stay at home with influenza-like symptoms, which include fever hight than 100£Æ or 37.8 ¡Éwith runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, body aches, difficulty to breathe, fatigue, nausea, vomitting, or diarrhea, from the first day of symptoms or until 24 hours after symptoms have resolved whichever is longer. If he/she is taking Tylenol, Advil, or any other medicine for a fever, do not send the child to school.

I will continue to be in communication with you regarding this situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to write me at lmanasfi@kis.or.kr.

Sincerely,

Lara Manasfi
