The ‘Model UN Human Rights Council Universal Periodic Review (UPR) for High School’ aims to provide an opportunity for high school students or teenagers (16 year old to 18 year old) to study and find sustainable solutions to the human rights issues in the Republic of Korea (ROK), Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), China, and Japan. The competition, the only national and international model competition to study human rights protection system through international cooperation, will be held in the same format as the United Nations Human Rights Council UPR.
